Prenatal Physical Therapy – Staying balanced and comfortable during pregnancy

Pregnancy changes your body quickly, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what is happening or what is “supposed” to feel right. Prenatal physical therapy helps you stay comfortable, balanced, and supported throughout pregnancy, while also preparing your body — and mind — for birth.
Your body changes week by week,  and it knows exactly what to do. Still, your exercise routine and your posture need to adapt to these changes.

Through gentle, safe movement, posture work and breathing techniques, you’ll learn how to release tension, support your body and move with confidence.

When needed, we address pain, pelvic discomfort, fatigue or specific symptoms with personalized physiotherapy treatment.

Prenatal physical therapy can support you in the following areas:

  • Adjusting your exercise routine to your trimester and energy levels
  • Safely strengthening the deep core and pelvis to support pregnancy and prepare for birth
  • Back, lower-back, and hip pain
  • Rib cage discomfort, shortness of breath, or sharp rib sensations
  • Belly discomfort: pain, stiffness, heaviness
  • Pelvic floor issues (tension, weakness, pressure)
  • Postural adjustments for daily comfort
  • Heartburn and nausea management strategies
  • Finding more comfortable sleeping and working positions
  • Fatigue and energy management
  • Anxiety related to body changes or the baby’s movement
  • Partner support: how your partner can help with massage, stretching, comfort measures
  • Baby’s position and how to influence it through maternal positioning
  • Managing existing pelvic organ prolapse during pregnancy

Couples’ sessions are also available for those who seek a deeper connection, prepare together, learn supportive techniques and share the experience.

Consultation – a place to begin

Our first 60-minute meeting is a space to share your story, hopes or concerns. I’m here to listen, assess, and outline the next steps for your journey.  Even a single consultation can bring clarity and reassurance.

60 minutes – €90.

Ongoing sessions

Weekly sessions combine treatment, movement and education, always tailored to your needs and energy levels and the reality of being a new mother.
Each appointment helps you reconnect with your body and find stability, strength and ease, step by step. 

Available on-site or online
30 minutes – €45 | 45 minutes – €67,50 | 60 minutes – €90.

I am an INAMI/RIZIV-certified physical therapist, which means you can receive partial reimbursement for prescribed physiotherapy, depending on your health insurance. Please note that Yoga, Personal Training, and Coaching are not subject to health insurance reimbursement.
