Postnatal Physical Therapy – restoring your body and finding your balance

The postpartum period is all about healing and rediscovery. Not only for your core and pelvic floor, but for your whole body.

We work on abdominal and pelvic floor recovery, improving posture, and easing back, neck and shoulder tension.
You’ll learn how to rebuild strength safely, at your own pace, find your new core, and feel at home in your changing body.

Postpartum recovery is a journey, and every woman moves through it at her own pace.
Your body carries wisdom and resilience — I’m here to listen to it with you, guide you through the changes, and help you feel more grounded in this new phase of your life: becoming a mother.

How I Can Help

Postnatal physical therapy addresses the full spectrum of postpartum changes, both physically and emotionally.

Depending on your needs, sessions may include:

  • Core rehabilitation and addressing diastasis recti
  • Pelvic floor recovery, coordination and re-education
  • Posture restoration and everyday ergonomics
  • Back, neck and shoulder tension related to breastfeeding or baby care
  • Scar therapy after C-section: body awareness, massage, restoring tissue mobility and sensory awareness. 
  • Pelvic balance: glute strengthening and gentle mobility
  • Comfortable breastfeeding positions and baby-carrying ergonomics
  • Guidance on returning to exercise routine safely
  • Step-by-step preparation for running again
  • Support for anxiety, overwhelm or uncertainty around postpartum changes

In-person sessions offer many advantages – but online sessions work well too.

The most effective time to begin postnatal PT is around 5–6 weeks after birth. If that window has already passed, don’t hesitate –  it’s still absolutely worth beginning. Your body stays adaptable and responsive, even months or years later.

Consultation – a place to begin

Our first 60-minute meeting is a space to share your story, hopes or concerns. I’m here to listen, assess, and outline the next steps for your journey.  Even a single consultation can bring clarity and reassurance.

60 minutes – €90.

Ongoing sessions

Weekly sessions combine treatment, movement and education, always tailored to your needs and energy levels and the reality of being a new mother.
Each appointment helps you reconnect with your body and find stability, strength and ease, step by step.  

Available on-site or online
30 minutes – €45 | 45 minutes – €67,50 | 60 minutes – €90.

I am an INAMI/RIZIV-certified physical therapist, which means you can receive partial reimbursement for prescribed physiotherapy, depending on your health insurance. Please note that Yoga, Personal Training, and Coaching are not subject to health insurance reimbursement.
